TOUR

DAY BY DAY

Arrival on Skiathos

A small one-master in the deep blue sea in front of a small island.

Day 1: Arrival on Skiathos

Get together at a taverna at the port of Skiathos. There we will meet our skipper and everyone gets to know each other before we leave the stable ground and embark on the boat to Skopelos (5pm).

Landlubber’s Day

The marina of Patitiri. Many small and larger motor yachts are anchored behind a protective harbor wall.

Day 2: Landlubber’s Day

While the morning sun rays are reflected on the water we will have breakfast on the boat. After breakfast there is time to discover the village of Skopelos and take pictures. As soon as the hunger returns we will have lunch on the boat, while sails are already set to Alonissos, Patitiri. For the shooting session we will have to climb up to the old village of Alonissos on the hill above Patitiri or you can take the bus. In any way, your sportive or rather less sportive exercise will be rewarded as a greek tavern at the harbour welcomes us for dinner.

Mermaid’s Day

Dreamlike bay in the Mediterranean. In the turquoise water, a white sailboat is anchored.

Day 3: Mermaid’s Day

Having breakfast while your feet hang overboard and glide through the water? That is what we do on the way to Skatzoura, an island with ruins and an abandoned monastery. The island belongs to the Alonissos Marine National Park which is also known for its local population of seals. On the way there we will have an editing session with Anisa and work on the pictures taken the day before. Lunch and dinner on the boat. In between and after there will be free time with opportunities for swimming and obviously more camera clicking.

Monk’s Day

A seal dives into the deep blue water. The picture shows the animal under water.

Day 4: Monk’s Day

Feel like peeling an orange for breakfast while we sail towards Kyra Panagia? On the way, Anisa tells us more about editing the pictures we took. Once arrived we go and see the old monastery from which the island got its name and a new orthodoxe monastery. There is also a good chance of seeing more seals before we will enjoy dinner and Greek wine on the boat while the sun sets.

Atlantis’ Day

Young woman with snorkel dives underwater.

Day 5: Atlantis’ Day

After breakfast we set sails once again as the next highlight is Psathoura. An editing session is planned while we leave a few nautic miles behind us. This island is a great place for snorkelling where we can find underwater ruins and eventually take more pictures from the island or us having fun. As the sun sets and as we may tell each other stories about the people that used to live there, we will enjoy more Greek freshness at our dinner on the boat.

Anchor’s Day

The beach of Stani Vala. Light blue water meets a stony beach, in front of green bushes.

Day 6: Anchor’s Day

We will still have breakfast and also organise an editing session. However, we will do a tacking of 180 degrees and sail back to Alonissos. Only this time we are heading to the harbour of Steni Vala. Not only will it be a good starting point for our next stop on the list, it is also an opportunity for us to take pictures. Our shore leave ends in a Greek tavern in the village.

The crow’s nest’s Day

Bay framed by high cliffs. From the sea liberated lies a ship wreck.

Day 7: The crow’s nest’s Day

After a quick breakfast we will be heading to Peristera where we will go from bay to bay and  enjoy even more blue water. Jump after jump into the water, we will head back to our home port on Skiathos. There we will have a last good bye dinner in the tavern and spend the last night on the boat.

Departure Day

A young woman looks down on a city from an airplane window.

Day 8: Departure Day

We are going to enjoy a last breakfast on the boat. Unfortunately, this is the end of the trip. We can all join at the tavern as one after the other leaves for the airport or you decide to continue on your own. Our beautiful trip will become beautiful memories.
